Q. What are the requirements for making a rental?

- You MUST have a valid motorcycle license/endorsement from the State or Country where your driver’s license was issued, or a valid Passport.
- You MUST be over 25 years of age. We do however; make special arrangements if the renter is over the age of 21.
- You MUST have a major credit card for deposit slip purposes. We accept VISA, MasterCard’s, and JCB.
- You MUST have proper footwear when renting the motorcycle.
Q. Which side of the road do you drive in Fiji?
A. In Fiji it is mandatory to drive on the left side of the road. Double laned highways are the only exception to this regulation.
Q. What license type do I need to hire a scooter?
A. If you have a local Fiji Passport, you must have License No. 1. Overseas visitors must provide a valid drivers license/endorsement from their State or Country of origin.
Q. What is the normal seating capacity on a scooter?
A. Our scooters can accommodate a total of two (2) persons. Exceeding this seating capacity will be deemed illegal under Fijian Transportation regulations.
Q. What type of fuel do your scooters normally take?
A. Our scooters normally run on Unleaded Motor Spirit.
Q. Is it safe to travel around on my own in Fiji?
A. Yes, It has been so far. We have not had any problems with issue. However, we do stress that you exercise normal precautions when traveling on your own; as is the case anywhere in the world. Additionally we urge you to take heed of our guiding instructions, and informative tips which we readily and happy give out.
Q. How do I minimize the travel risk on a scooter?
A. In order to lessen the rare odds of a mishap on one of our scooters, we recommend that you do not drive the scooter at night time. More seriously, it is STRONGLY recommended that you do not drink and then drive the scooter. |
